Dr Alex Tonkin graduated from Newcastle University in 1994.
Dr Tonkin’s interests include aviation medicine, family medicine, children’s health and sun related skin disease. Dr Tonkin is a designated Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr Anne Williamson
General Practitioner
Dr Anne completed her university training at UNSW then moved to Newcastle in 2009 where she completed her GP training.
She has been a GP for over 10 years and enjoys working with her patients managing a wide range of illnesses. Outside of time at Newcastle General Practice she is involved in supervising doctors completing their GP training. She enjoys patting her cats, running, cooking, and spending time relaxing with her family.
Dr Catherine Eve
General Practitioner
Dr Catherine Eve is a proud Novacastrian born and bred. She graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours Degrees in both Speech Pathology and Medicine. In 1999,
She returned home to the Hunter to undertake her Junior Medical Officer training. Dr Eve completed her specialty post-graduate GP training in 2008 and is a current Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has extensive experience in managing all aspects of general practice, including women’s health.
Dr Dean Miller

Dr Dean Miller graduated from Melbourne University in 2001.

He moved to Newcastle to be closer to family and to enjoy the better weather. He enjoy's being a GP and being a part of people's health journey. He is interested in all aspects of GP work and has particular interests in men's health, chronic disease management, sexual health and travel medicine.
Dr Emma Mather
General Practitioner
Dr Emma Mather graduated from The University of Newcastle in the year 2000.

She has been a GP in the Newcastle area for seven years. Dr Mather has also worked as a medical educator. Dr Mather enjoys general practice across the life span, with a particular interest in mental health. Dr Mather also has a diploma in children’s health. She has volunteered as a breastfeeding counsellor. In her spare time Dr Mather enjoys spending time at the beach with her family.
Dr Oliver Williams
General Practitioner
Dr Oliver Williams graduated from the Australian National University in 2014.

He moved to Newcastle in 2017 and subsequently completed his specialist GP training. Dr Williams interests include mental health, chronic disease, family medicine, children’s health and skin cancer medicine.
